Pete Puma

1995-08-25 Carrotblanca
Release date: 1995-08-25
Plot: Bugs Bunny runs a nightclub during World War II. When he gets tangled up in a plot involving secret documents, he must choose between helping his old flame, Kitty Ketty, or maintaining his cherished neutrality.
Name and role: This short needed to fill in the background of its nightclub scenes, so it brought in a whole bunch of Looney Tunes characters as bar patrons or workers. Among them was Pete Puma
Trivia and other appearances: Some of his most memorable appearances include: "Rabbit's Kin" (1952) and "Pullet Surprise" (1997)

1996-11-10 Space Jam
Release date: 1996-11-10
Plot: Basketball legend Michael Jordan teams up with Bugs Bunny and the Looney Tunes to win a wild basketball game against alien villains called the Monstars. The aliens stole NBA players' talents, so it's up to Jordan and the Tunes to slam, jam, and bring the chaos. It's sports meets cartoons in the most 90s crossover ever.
Name and role: Back then, it was complicated to animate all the well-known and lesser-known characters to create a big cheering crowd, so we mostly see what look like GIFs in the background: two-dimensional characters moving in a loop. Only in certain scenes, when the focus shifts to the audience, do we see real animations and well-crafted characters. Among them: Pete Puma
Trivia and other appearances: These characters, seen here only as cameos, have many other appearances, including: Rabbit's Kin (1952), Pullet Surprise (1997), Looney Tunes: Rabbits Run (2015), Bah, Humduck! A Looney Tunes Christmas (2006)

1997-03-14 Pullet Surprise
Release date: 1997-03-14
Plot: Pete tries to raid the henhouse guarded by Foghorn Leghorn and soon learns the hard way that this rooster lives for messing with someone dumber than he is. And this time, Pete doesn't just seem dumber: he is.
Name and role: Pete plays the usual gullible fool, which is perfect for Foghorn. Drawing on his past experience with predators like Henery Hawk, Foghorn knows exactly how to handle him: he sends Pete off on a series of wild goose chases (or rather, "rare chickens").
Trivia and other appearances: This short marks the first and only official interaction between Pete and Foghorn in classic Looney Tunes cartoons. However, they make a surprisingly solid comic duo in the film Rabbit Run, based on The Looney Tunes Show, where their chemistry as mismatched buffoons gets a proper spotlight.

2000-02-29 Tweety's High Flying Adventure
Release date: 2000-02-29
Plot: In the same vein as The Sylvester & Tweety Mysteries, here comes a charming little direct-to-video movie with Tweety in the spotlight. A globe-trotting adventure, reuniting with the rest of the Looney Tunes gang and staying one tiny step ahead of Sylvester and a whole slew of hungry cats of all shapes and sizes
Name and role: Pete, and what I can only assume is Nero, are the two feline predators of the jungle. Of course, they end up competing... only to share the same fate. Being a predator in the Looney Tunes universe? Yeah, not exactly a winning career path.

2006-11-14 Bah, Humduck! A Looney Tunes Christmas
Release date: 2006-11-14
Plot: Daffy Duck is a greedy megastore owner who despises Christmas and mistreats his employees. On Christmas Eve, he's visited by the ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and Future, who show him the error of his ways. After witnessing the impact of his actions, Daffy reforms, embraces the holiday spirit, and... Well I think you already heard about this story.
Name and role: Foghorn and Pete are two more disgruntled workers. They're seen interacting during the final party, echoing their duo dynamic from Pullet Surprise and Rabbit Run.

2015-08-04 Looney Tunes: Rabbit Run
Release date: 2015-08-04
Plot: Lola Bunny, a perfume salesgirl, accidentally creates a fragrance that grants invisibility. This discovery propels her and taxi driver Bugs Bunny into a globe-trotting escapadeacross New York, Paris, and even Mars, they ultimately thwart Marvin's plan and return safely to Earth.
Name and role: General Foghorn is one of the film's main antagonists. He works for the NSA and coordinates the agents hunting down the magic flower. Pete was his intern, was, past tense. The two make a surprisingly solid comedic duo, already tested and fan-approved.

Pete:....yes...
